* TUESDAY JULY 1ST - JAMONADA IV
I retreated from the social interwebs of the world in June. I faced some personal hardships compounded with being physically burnt out from nearly three months of touring + close to twenty performances that left me feeling empty and creatively lost. The break was a major mental re-shift for me and truth be told I didn't miss being active online or on social media. In fact I am now looking for a new way to balance the marketing needed for my music happenings in a healthier way so I can create more. I spent the month running, dreaming, composing about 20 more minutes for one of my operas and recording two new country tunes with my friends titled, I Left My Heart in Marfa and Take Me Back to Odessa. I'll debut these songs live in Barcelona for Jamonada IV on July 19th!
