* WEDNESDAY MAY 15TH - ORLANDO SENTINEL
On a very stressful Monday, with rain pouring down all day, we were unsure if we'd have the opportunity to go forth with our private press preview. Thankfully the sky opened up and we had just enough time to set up and run it! The Orlando Sentinel was there and said this: "Felix’s compositions have a pleasing otherworldly sound that gives way to something more discordant as things go awry. (Have you ever heard of séance running smoothly?)." Read the full review by clicking on this photo. If in Orlando from May 16-26 buy $10 tickets HERE

* SUNDAY MAY 12TH - "SILENT" SEANCE
Excited to be back in Orlando (4th time in less than a year) to do a unique classical music presentation live in a field and transmitted to the audience on headphones at Fringe Festival! It's my first horror related music project outside of film scoring. Despite the technical headaches involved with the headphones, transmitters, etc...I really love the end result in doing these interactive/immersive pieces. The audience really eats it up and it's fun to see their reaction to new classical music. Pray for no rain during our shows!

* MARCH 14TH 2019 - 6 PIANOS HOUSTON!!!
I'm ecstatic to be presenting music for 6 pianos in Houston this May! It's my first big production in Houston but I feel it's going to be a great way to connect with the community. As you know, the idea behind the 6-Piano Project is community based and donating back to the community via placing pianos in lower income schools. If you would like to donate to this not-for-profit event, click on the Donate button below. Any amount from $1+ helps! All money donated will go to the restoration and placement of these pianos in lower income homes and schools.
(complimentary beverages thanks to Buffalo Bayou Brewery and Virtuoso wine & spirits)

* FEBRUARY 26TH 2019 - INDIE ORCHESTRA IV w/ROKY ERICKSON
I'm honored to be presenting the 4th annual Indie Orchestra Night with my coconspirator, Brent Baldwin and his choral group, Panoramic Voices. It's this Sunday March 3rd (4:30 pm) at Millennium Youth Complex. Click on the poster below for tickets. AND Austin 360 couldn't have said it better...
"Wonder what your favorite Austin band would sound like with a string section? For the fourth year in a row, composer Nathan Felix and choral ensemble Panoramic Voices are arranging the songs of popular local artists for orchestra and choir. This year’s event features psych-rock legend Roky Erickson, pop savant Mobley, powerhouse rockers Sweet Spirit and electropop outfit Night Glitter. A portion of proceeds from the event will go to the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians." — Deborah Sengupta Stith
